The Velvet Sunrise 💛🖤💛
This vintage chair got a complete transformation. I replaced the filling for better comfort, reupholstered it in a soft mustard fabric, restored the wooden armrests, and painted the legs black for a modern contrast.

I love how it turned out — a perfect mix of mid-century style and modern design.

Before:
When I got this piece, it had already been painted once and was only halfway stripped. The surface was sticky and covered in half-dissolved paint clumps, and the door was glued shut. The locks and key were rusted solid, and getting them unstuck was quite the challenge. Cleaning out all the paint from the cracks and crevices took ages — it definitely tested my patience!

After:
Now it’s completely transformed! Freshly painted in a soft, elegant blue with gold accents and gorgeous floral decoupage panels, this armoire feels like it’s blooming all over again. The details finally shine through, and the piece has a whole new personality — romantic, graceful, and full of life. 🌸💙

The Architectural- IKEA Hack 🏛️

I wanted to give this plain IKEA dresser a completely new look, and I’m so happy with how it turned out!

The old pine finish got a fresh coat of paint — a clean white top with a black base — and I added a beautiful architectural building design across the drawers. The final touch was swapping out the old handles for polished vintage brass pulls, which really bring everything together.

It’s amazing what a little creativity (and patience!) can do. From simple IKEA furniture to a statement piece that looks like custom designer decor.

It was a total Frankenstein creation… but we saw the potential hiding underneath! 👀

After some serious sanding, patching, and a bold new vision, this once mismatched dresser got a complete glow-up. The body is now a rich, dark tone that makes the vibrant patterned drawers pop with life. Gold accents and sleek new handles tie it all together for a look that’s equal parts modern and artistic. 🌿🎨

What was once a jumble of parts is now a statement piece that feels like it was always meant to be this way. Proof that a little creativity (and a lot of patience) can truly work miracles!
